Walk-In Passport

Passport offices in Brooklyn: walk-in and appointment locations

36 passport acceptance facilities in Brooklyn: 6 listed as walk-in, 31 listed as appointment-required. Addresses, phone numbers and listing notes are from the U.S. State Department database (pulled October 27, 2026).

Most Brooklyn post offices list appointments only. The walk-in listings are the Brooklyn Public Library (Central, Arlington and Kings Highway branches), the Cadman Plaza general post office, the Kings County Clerk, and Blythbourne Station on Sundays.

Many Brooklyn post office listings route appointments through one shared number, (718) 348-3800, or the email brooklyn_passports@usps.gov.

A few listing notes give a different phone number than the main listing (for example Van Brunt and Coney Island stations). Both numbers are shown exactly as published; try the main listing number first.

If you need a passport within 14 days, an acceptance facility cannot help. You need an appointment at a passport agency (book through the State Department) with proof of travel.

All 36 locations

Walk-in locations are listed first, then by ZIP code. “Walk-in listed” means the State Department listing says walk-in service or no appointment required; “Appointment listed” means it says appointments are required (some list both, for example walk-in on certain days). Hours change, so call ahead.
